The following is a comprehensive list of official maps found in Killing Floor. The list comprises of the five core maps; four of which being updated ports from the Killing Floor mod and the fifth being a port from Red Orchestra, the three Tripwire maps released during the summer of 2009, and the five third party maps added during the Grindhouse mapping competition. Only maps created by Tripwire Interactive have related achievements for completion, all of which are only awarded on long game. The list also includes the two system maps, Menu and Intro, which were originally playable through map voting.

Core maps

Biotics Lab

Main article: Biotics Lab

Biotics Lab is one of the four maps from the Killing Floor mod. Its a tight map comprising mostly of corridors adjoining several rooms. The achievements Lab Cleaner, Assistant and Professor are awarded upon its completion on normal, hard and suicidal difficulty levels respectively.

Farm

Main article: Farm

Farm originates as a port from Red Orchestra. Its a large open map with a small number of buildings and a surrounding fence blockade to mark the edge of the map. The achievements Chicken, Cattle and Alligator Farmer are awarded upon its completion on the various difficulty settings, excluding beginner.

Manor

Main article: Manor

Manor is one of the four maps from the Killing Floor mod. Its set upon an abandoned manor, with an open exterior and interior grounds. The achievements Lord of the Manor, Duke of the Manor, and Emperor of the Manor are awarded upon it's completion on the various difficulty settings, excluding beginner.

Offices

Main article: Offices

Offices is one of the four maps from the Killing Floor mod. Its setting takes place at the Biotech office complex, above the Laboratory map and was under remodeling. The number of floors make up for it's limited space, including the rooftop. The achievements The Boss, Hard Boss, and Mad Boss are awarded upon its completion on the various difficulty settings, excluding beginner.

West London

Main article: West London

West London is one of the four maps from the Killing Floor mod. It is an open, narrow map, with most of the combat taking place within the streets. However, the action can be redirected into one of the location's open facilities. The achievements Pub Crawler, Hard Pub Crawler, and Suicidal Pub Crawler are awarded upon its completion in one of the difficulty settings, excluding beginner.

Summer maps

Bedlam

Main article: Bedlam

Bedlam was the first map released with the Level up content pack update. Set in the aftermath of a Halloween rave at a crumbling abandoned lunatic asylum, you and your squad must fight through the claustrophobic hallways and open commons areas sanitizing any specimens you find.

Foundry

Main article: Foundry

Foundry was the first addition to the five core maps. It was added in the "Heavy Metal Content Pack" update along side the AK-47, Katana and the Outbreak character pack. The completion achievements are Tin Man, Steel Worker and Man of Steel.

Wyre

Main article: Wyre

Wyre was the second map released with the Level up content pack update. Set deep in the creepy woodlands of southern England you and your squad must clear out the forest working your way to the hidden Horzine research facility.

Grindhouse maps

Crash

Main article: Crash

Crash was recognised as an official map following its placing of 3rd in the second wave of the Grindhouse mapping competition. It is a remake of an early custom map for the original Killing Floor mod, making it the fifth official game which pre-dates the retail version of Killing Floor. Created by Michael Hewish and Corey Sine.

Departed

Main article: Departed

Departed was recognised as an official map following its placing of 2rd in the second wave of the Grindhouse mapping competition. Created by Jeroen van Wamelen and Jessy De Lannoit.

Filths Cross

Main article: Filths Cross

Filths Cross came second place in the first wave of the Grindhouse mapping competition and was eventually recognised as an official map along side the top three from the second wave. Created by Justyn Toohill.

Icebreaker

Main article: Icebreaker

Icebreaker was the victor of the second wave of the Grindhouse mapping competition. Created by Damien Laurent and Yoann Guilloud.

Waterworks

Main article: Waterworks

Waterworks was the victor of the first wave of the Grindhouse mapping competition. It was the first non-Tripwire map to become recognised as an official map. Created by Damien Laurent.

System maps

Menu

Menu is a system map; the background of the main menu. It contains only a single spawn point and a large cuboid object which cycles though the images seen on the main menu. It was only playable through map vote and cannot be completed as a map, due to the lack of any specimen spawn points on the map.

Intro

Intro is a system map. Its similar to Menu, except the image is of Tripwire's logo.
