M32 vs M79 reload time[edit]

I've always found that the time it takes to load and fire one shell for the M32 is shorter than that for the M79 -Firestorm2 01:55, 25 October 2009 (UTC)

Are you sure? the M32, the player has to manually take out the used shell and put in another. The M79, the player just opens the thing up and pours out the used shell, fits another one in and closes the M79. --Takua 17:22, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
Next time I play, I'll see how long it takes to shoot 5 shells from empty for each gun, counting the time for all 5 -Firestorm2 18:23, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
The results are in! Unfortunately, this is difficult to test because the M32 can only be shot while reloading with 1 shell in if you go into iron-sights first, otherwise, 2 must be loaded first. When I fired and reloaded 5 shots for the m79, it took 5 seconds longer than taking the M32 with one shot, firing it, loading 2, firing 2, loading 2, firing 2. When I tried one shot at a time for the M32, I had a few glitches, but managed to still get 2 seconds less than the M79. -Firestorm2 04:46, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
I also tested this and got similar results. M32 is clearly faster. Updated the advantages & disadvantages to reflect this. -Epeli 05:49, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
Fascinating results. 06:27, 26 October 2009 (UTC)Snakexdude11 06:27, 26 October 2009 (UTC)

Preference of Demo[edit]

This is my favorite Demo "gun." Although it has a slower reload time, it has more damage potential towards larger specimens in a full clip than the L.A.W. does, and with smaller, cheaper grenades, it's more cost efficient for lesser crowd control. Also just all around cheaper in general. I just feel like the L.A.W. is a waste unless your ultimate goal is to shoot once and get away. In that case you might not have time to launch out 6 grenades. Any disagreements or other opinions would be awesome to hear. — Karebu 16:34, 1 August 2012 (UTC)
