So, reading a few articles they mention the Patriarch teleporting into rooms and things, was that in an old version or the mod, or am I just really unobservant?

I think read that the Patriarch was going to be able to teleport in the mod, but the game went retail before that update was released. He doesn't teleport in the retail version though, and never has done; he just runs very fast and has invisibility. — Balthazar (T|C) 12:07, 8 April 2010 (UTC)

Pipe bomb damage reduction[edit]

Should we add a table to detail the damage reduction for pipe bombs that hit the Patriarch simultaneously? I have a table here, but could use some help decorating it. For those who don't know about the damage reduction and can understand scripts, here's a code snippet from KFChar\Classes\ZombieBoss.uc, State InitialSneak, function TakeDamage (line 1335):

The table should not include that plus on the 14, after numerous tests in game, and now that I see this code, notice there is no cap. The more pipes bombs, the less damage; and it can go all the way to zero if you put too many. 14 is the highest you can have until you start getting diminishing returns. That plus is a LIE. The damage for a level six demo can be demonstrated by this equation: 2490p - 90p^2 with "p" being number of pipes stacked. Acthar 4 February 2012

Interestingly I've conducted numerous tests myself when I created the table and again just now to verify your statements, and my original table still appears to be correct. With 30 pipe bombs packed together as tightly as possible, the Patriarch (who had less than 17220 HP) instantly blew up upon stepping onto the pipes. The code certainly isn't contradictory because the code above is called each time the Patriarch incurs damage, not just once for the entire pile. —Weldindisdowa T/C 14:18, 4 February 2012 (UTC)
