Twisted Christmas is an event Tripwire Interactive did two years running around the Christmas periods of 2010 and 2011. Both came with content packs of varying sizes, Christmas themed specimens, and new achievements.
[edit] Christmas 2010
The first Twisted Christmas event took place between 14 December 2010 and 4 January 2011. The new additions included hell on earth difficulty, the Santa's Evil Lair map, 14 Christmas themed achievements and map completion achievements for all official maps lacking them, a Santa costume, two Team Fortress 2 Pyro costumes, and Christmas themed skins for all the specimens. Additionally the London's Finest character pack was released as DLC.
[edit] Christmas 2011
The second Twisted Christmas event took place between 7 December 2011 and 4 January 2012. In addition to the Christmas themed objects from the previous year, there were new additions including 9 Christmas themed achievements, the winter weapons pack, and the Ice Cave map. The second steampunk character pack was also added as DLC at this time.
The weapons that came with the second Christmas event are the .44 Magnum, two variants of the M4 carbine, the claymore, the combat shotgun, the MP5M medic gun, and the Husk fireball launcher.
